An hour with an author
On the 25th of March 2026, an author came to class 6a. His name was Finn-Ole Heinrich. He came to us because it was literature week.
He introduced himself and told us what he was going to read. We were so lucky because the book hadn’t been published yet. I thought it was going to be another author reading a story, that I wasn’t interested in, but boy was I wrong. He started to read and I found it a bit boring, so I went into my own world in my head, but then it was really interesting. So went out of my world and paid attention. It was like a rollercoaster. It was so funny, that I had to laugh a lot which surprised me because I had never laughed so much at these type of readings. He made the story really interesting and I was flabbergasted. The reason I laughed a lot was because there was a young boy ( Pekka ) who thought it was normal for a 9 year old and a 11 year old to go to Morocco. The 11 year old was Pekka’s best friend Henry. The story was so interesting, that I recommend it for kids. It was so amazing!
When the story came to an end, so did the rollercoaster. It was such a bummer that the story was over because it was the best story that an author had ever read to us in my opinion. We then did a mini “Q & A” and took some pictures with him.
It was one of the best 45 minutes of my life. Thank you so much Finn-Ole Heinrich!💛
